The proposed Garden Village parameter plans identify the majority of Governs Farm as strategic open space and new woodland area. By including these in the parameter plan they cannot be subject to development as part of this application. The Governs Farm strategic open space also has a function known as a SANG which will be a requirement linked to Natural England which would, in turn, prevent its loss for other uses.
