The steepness of some parts of the site means it has been a challenge to work with, however we have worked with the landscape wherever we can. We are aiming to limit the need to move large amounts of excavated materials and construct retaining walls as this would not be cost effective and would not enhance the biodiversity of the site.
This will mean we will need to construct steeper roads and pedestrian routes in places, and develop innovative house design to cater for this approach.
