The previous planning applications were granted 10 years ago. Why haven’t they expired as no work was carried out by the developers?

The applications for Langarth (INOX), Maiden Green and Willow Green remain in place and are identified in the existing neighbourhood plan as commitments which the area relies upon to meet the housing need to 2030. The scale of the applications meant that the time period allowed to start or commence development was longer than for smaller developments.
