The current planning application is a “Hybrid” application. This means that the NAR is a full planning application, while the Garden Village part is in the form of an outline application, with the details provided at a later stage via reserved matters applications. For the outline area, the movement parameter plan identifies key secondary routes required, but the exact alignment and routes will be defined in future reserved matters applications. The Design code sets out principles of how roads should be provided in those future reserved matters applications. Priority will, wherever possible, be given to cyclists /pedestrians and public transport but vehicular access for both private cars and emergency vehicles will be provided to all homes.
