We are inviting members of the public to come and find out the latest information about our scheme at a series of community engagement events being held during the next two weeks.
The four events – at Threemilestone, Shortlanesend, Chacewater and at the Pydar Pop up in Truro – are being staged to give local people the opportunity to see the latest plans for the scheme and speak to the team leading the project.
Following the submission of the hybrid planning application for the proposed Garden Village and the Northern Access Road earlier this year, Cornwall Council’s planning department requested some additional information. This has now been provided, with the amended plans available to view on the Council’s planning portal (PA20/09631).
The community engagement events are taking place at :
- Monday, 8 November, Threemilestone School Hall
- Tuesday, 9 November, Shortlanesend Village Hall
- Wednesday, 10 November, Pydar Pop Up in Truro
- Thursday, 18 November, Chacewater WI hall
All the events are being held between 2pm and 8pm and are open to everyone.
Following the completion of the next round of consultation, the Langarth Garden Village hybrid planning application will be considered formally by members of the Council’s Strategic Planning Committee. The application is currently scheduled to be considered at the meeting of the Strategic Planning Committee on 16 December. However this date is dependent on all the necessary information being available and so may change.
