People living in and around Truro are being invited to attend a special consultation event being held at Threemilestone on Monday, 26 February to give their views on designs for a new skatepark being developed for Langarth Garden Village.
As part of the reserved matters application for parks and green spaces at the Garden Village, Cornwall Council has been working with CORMAC and the Langarth Garden Village team to continue with detailed plans for children’s play areas, green gyms, timber walkways and boardwalks, sustainable drainage features, including lakes, rain gardens, community allotments and a community orchard and a skatepark.
Renowned skatepark engineers Maverick, who have been commissioned to develop the skatepark for the Garden Village, are holding a special consultation event at Threemilestone Community Centre between 3pm and 6.30 pm on 26 February to demonstrate the plans for the skatepark to the local community and seek their feedback on the current designs.
Maverick will be visiting Richard Lander School earlier in the day to find out the views of students on the designs.
Anyone who is unable to attend the event on 26 February can still complete the online survey for the skatepark here https://www.maverickskateparks.co.uk/langarth).
