Officially launched today
Our new website – langarth.co.uk – is a one stop shop for everything you want to know about Langarth Garden Village.
As well as providing information about the latest plans for creating our vibrant, distinctive and sustainable community in Cornwall, with sections on the development of the new homes, schools, workspaces, and health and care facilities, it also sets out our proposals for how Langarth will help to deliver Cornwall Council’s exciting and ambitious climate change strategy.
Biodiversity & sustainability
Find out how we are working with partners to conserve the environment and increase biodiversity across the site, far exceeding the minimum target of 10%, with walkable green corridors and new play and leisure areas, together with parks, woodland and wildlife areas, and community gardens, allotments and orchards available for those wanting to grow healthy food from their doorstep.
Read how we are developing sustainable transport links, with new roads and bus services, and improved walking and cycling routes connecting all parts of the development and Truro and Threemilestone, and improving access to the existing countryside for everyone to enjoy.
Whats happening & FAQ’s
There’s a “what’s happening” section keeping you up to date with events and activities, an extensive information hub providing access to key documents, including our vision, and an area for blog posts and our Frequently Asked Questions. So if you want to know what a garden village is, what type of homes will be built and what community facilities will be on the site – you can find the answers to these and many, many other questions in our FAQ’s.
You can also use the website to ask questions and give us your views about the scheme. We are planning to run regular polls on different elements of the project so we can make sure our plans meet the needs of both existing and future residents.
